This course teaches how to protect yourself and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens such as HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C.

You’ll learn how these diseases are transmitted, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe cleanup and disposal of blood or body fluids, and what to do if an exposure incident occurs.
OSHA

The class also covers OSHA requirements, workplace safety practices, and post-exposure follow-up procedures to keep employees and the public safe.

Any employee with the potential for occupational exposure to blood or bodily fluids must complete this training. This includes healthcare workers, first responders, janitorial staff, childcare providers, tattoo artists, and many others as outlined by OSHA.
